Greetings!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! AND THANK YOU!!!! To all of those who volunteered at the Western Plains Open. We have had many comments from other schools that our tournament is the best run tournaments that they have been to – CONGRATULATIONS!

CONGRATULATIONS to those who competed! If you placed in your division, your name is in print on the wall of fame at the dojo.

***A special note of congratulations goes to Sensei Karen Oliver and newly appointed Sensei Stephen McLeod. Through diligent training as well as going above and beyond the call of duty with teaching, Sensei Karen has been promoted to the rank of Nidan and Sensei Stephen has earned a probationary Black Belt. To those who may not know, a Nidan is the second dan on a black belt, the 1st being a Shodan.

CONGRATULATIONS to those who competed at the Soaring High Mikisew Karate Tournament in Nipawin. Out of the 6 competitors, they brought home 18 medals – WELL DONE! Again – the wall of fame has the details as well as a photo courtesy of Carol Borisenko. Thank you Carol – it is much appreciated!

YEAR-END PARTY

This party is courtesy of the Saskaton Martial Arts Association and we use proceeds from our tournament to supply food and drinks.  Watch for details and the sign-up poster that will be available in June.
